Sink Into Stillness

Dear Wise Women,

I could not think of a better way to cap off our autumn session together than to simply savour the stillness together! After all, in the end, isn’t that all there is and all that we are? From what I can see, all of the teachings ultimately point us back here, to this simple yet elusive Truth.

Today’s Treasure Trove reflects this simplicity. This is intentional. I invite you to relish the stillness and to keep it simple as you head into this festive and sacred season of celebration and rebirth. 💝

“I AM MY silence. I am not the busyness of my thoughts or the daily rhythm of my actions. I am not the stuff that constitutes my world. I am not my talk. I am not my actions. I am my silence. I am the consciousness that perceives all these things. When I go into my consciousness, to that great pool of silence that observes the intricacies of my life, I am aware that I am me. I take a little time each day to sit in silence so that I can move outward in balance into the great clamour of living.”
— "Embers - One Ojibway's meditations" by Richard Wagamese

“Your innermost sense of self, of who you are, is inseparable from stillness. This is the I AM that is deeper than name and form.

Stillness is your essential nature. What is stillness? The inner space or awareness in which the words on this page are being perceived and become thoughts. Without that awareness, there would be no perception, no thoughts, no world.

You are that awareness, disguised as a person.”
— Eckhart Tolle

“The ultimate truth is so simple;
it is nothing more than being
in one’s natural,
original state.

It is a great wonder that to teach such a simple truth a number of religions should be necessary, and so many dispute should go on between them as to which is the God-ordained teaching. What a pity!

Just be the Self, that is all.”
— Ramana Maharshi

Blessings, dear ones! I thank-you from the bottom of my heart for bringing your beautiful selves to our circle. I look forward to continuing our gatherings in the New Year…nothing gives me more delight!

Love Patti
