Evening Solace for Women - Monday's 7:00-8:30 pm
Release tension and replenish your energy in a warm and nurturing setting. This 90 minute class is a unique opportunity to rest, connect and grow. Together we will explore qigong concepts, mindfulness and advaita (nonduality) teachings. Arrive 10-15 minutes early to connect with others and enjoy a warm mug of tea!
Class begins with the sharing of a teaching with may include a group discussion, followed by a guided meditation and invitation to rest in the heart. Slow gentle movements, breathing techniques, and focused visualizations are then used to cultivate qi, release blockages and balance the flow of qi throughout the body. A closing lying down meditation leaves you feeling both grounded and ready for a good nights rest.
Small class size ensures a connected and meaningful experience. Suitable for all ages and abilities and no experience is necessary. Wear comfortable clothes and soft soled shoes or socks. PLEASE NOTE that class begins with a sitting meditation on the floor, cushions are provided and back support and/or chairs are available to ensure comfort for all participants.
